Laura is responsible for leading and coordinating an initiative to create and support a network of Regional Mentors aligned with GBHI’s mission to reduce the scale and impact of dementia worldwide by developing, supporting, and empowering a new generation of global brain health leaders, the Atlantic Fellows for Equity in Brain Health.

Vision
Laura is using her organizational and project management skills to establish an infrastructure that supports a global network of Regional Mentors to contribute to the robust training and learning experience of Atlantic Fellows for Equity in Brain Health.
Strategy
Before joining GBHI, Laura supported the development of modules linked to the UN's Sustainable Development Goals at Trinity Global in a project funded by the Higher Education Authority (HEA). Laura has also worked on innovation projects applying emerging technologies in education.
Motivation
Mentoring is a key element of the fellowship program at GBHI and its overall strategy and mission. Therefore, Laura's role is focused on establishing an infrastructure to support the global Regional Mentor network.
Education & Experience
Laura obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. She is a PhD. candidate in Information Sciences, and she is also currently completing an MSc in Digital and Content Marketing. She joined the GBHI team in October 2022 as a Project Manager.
