As Global Network Officer, based at TCD, Ciara will be responsible for all aspects of relationship management, communication and events relating to the community of Atlantic Senior Fellows for Equity in Brain Health at GBHI. Her role will be key to supporting the Atlantic Senior Fellows community and fostering their ongoing engagement with the wider GBHI network and the current Atlantic Fellows.In this role Ciara will interact closely with colleagues based at GBHI’s founding sites, TCD and UCSF; at The Atlantic Institute; and with Atlantic Fellows for Equity in Brain Health worldwide.

An arts graduate of Trinity College Dublin, Ciara has held a number of positions in the private sector with technology and telecommunications companies, has run her own event management business and for the past eight years has worked within the Trinity Development & Alumni (TDA) Office of Trinity College Dublin. TDA is the fundraising and alumni outreach arm of Trinity College Dublin, which has 115,000 alumni around the world, managing relationships with alumni, donors and volunteers.Ciara was its first Events Manager setting up the function in 2012. The cornerstone of Ciara’s work within TDA has been nurturing and facilitating relationships with alumni through effective communications and events both on and off campus and growing these communities. With an established international alumni network she is accustomed to working within a multi-cultural environment and brings this experience to her role with GBHI.

Bio: Ciara Power obtained a Bachelor’s Degree with honours in French & German from Trinity College Dublin. She completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management and German in the Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT) and recently completed a Diploma in Digital Marketing with the Digital Marketing Institute (DMI). She joined the GBHI operations team in September 2018 as Global Network Officer.
