Dementia awareness and best practice for dementia research needs to reach all corners of the world. Through her project management and research skills, Abhisweta aims to help to deliver this vision and build a dementia-friendly society.
Abhisweta has served as an Research Assistant at Trinity College Dublin to help build a masterclass on dementia for healthcare and social workers in South-Asia. Before that, she worked as an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Tutor in Ireland and as an academic counseling psychologist in India.
Abhisweta's contribution to GBHI utilizes her management and research skills in building support structures for global dementia awareness and best practice research. Being a people person, she looks after GBHI's PPI panel consisting of people that have been dementia warriors.
Abhisweta obtained her Bachelor's Degree with honors in Psychology from the University of Calcutta, and then went on to achieve her Master's Degree from Trinity College Dublin. She has a specific interest in research, leading to her independent reports and researches on social psychology. She joined the GBHI team in June 2021 as PPI/PPV Project Coordinator.
