Ruby supports the Atlantic Fellows for Equity in Brain Health within the Global Brain Health Institute by coordinating programs, events, and partnerships that connect researchers, leaders, and advocates from around the world to advance equity and innovation in brain health.

Vision

Ruby is inspired by GBHI's global, interdisciplinary approach to advancing brain health equity and addressing the impact of dementia. She hopes to support meaningful connections, programs, and collaborations that empower leaders to create lasting change in their communities across the world.

Strategy

Before joining GBHI, Ruby was the Program Manager for Leadership & Outreach Initiatives with the Office of Undergraduate Research at the University of Washington. There, she led programs and events that expanded access to meaningful research experiences for undergraduates across all disciplines.

Motivation

Ruby is motivated by GBHI's mission to advance brain health equity and support healthier aging worldwide. Through her work coordinating programs and events, she hopes to foster the connections and collaborations that drive this mission forward.
 

Education & Experience

Ruby obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History and Comparative History of Ideas from the University of Washington in 2023. She joined the Global Brain Health Institute in 2026.
