A Global Brain Health Institute Initiative at Trinity College Dublin

Creativity is everyone’s asset, a critical skill for the coming century, which can be nurtured and perhaps enhanced.

We are establishing an annual event to explore and promote the inter-disciplinary neuroscience of creativity and its practical applications, while raising the profile of Ireland in this important field.

The inaugural event featuring exhibitions and talks world leading by scientists, artists and innovators takes place across the digital and physical campus of Trinity College Dublin and out into the heart of the City between March 12th and March 16th, 2022.

It will launch an annual Creative Brain Week to explore and promote the relationships between creativity and the brain in areas including:

  • Social development

  • Technology

  • The arts

  • Entrepreneurship

  • Brain health and physical health

A pioneering event illustrating innovation at the intersection of arts and brain science, including creative approaches to health and wellbeing throughout our lives, it will share experience and knowledge from academic and public practice.
