Global Atlantic Fellows Community Call: Writing about Atypical Dementias

Event Details

We are delighted to have the Deep Dive with Global Atlantic Fellow Jamie Talan, a science journalist and writer specializing in the brain, from the first GBHI cohort (2016). Jamie just published a book this month: Atypical Dementias: Understanding MidLife Language, Visual, Behavioral and Cognitive Changes.

During her deep dive, Jamie will tell us all about her book, the process for the collecting the stories in it, and will answer your questions. Perhaps this collection might be a resource in your work or a source of inspiration. Jamie also has a great sense of humor (and experience raising lambs!), so get ready for a lively conversation!

Jamie’s GBHI biography is available here: https://www.gbhi.org/profiles/jamie-talan and additional information is below.

The call also provides time for announcements from Global Atlantic Fellows and the staff team from GBHI, with the monthly calls having the facilitation and leadership from Global Atlantic Fellows including Emily Adrion.
