Current Work

Alessandra serves as the primary point of contact for the Atlantic Fellows for Equity in Brain Health program at GBHI. While monitoring the Fellows progress and providing programmatic support, she facilitates connections within the Memory and Aging Center and the UCSF community.

Vision

Alessandra is dedicated to supporting GBHI's mission and values to provide excellent support to emerging leaders focused on improving brain health and reducing the impact of dementia in their local and global communities. 
 

Strategy

Before joining the GBHI team, Alessandra was Program Assistant for the Pre-licensure Programs in the School of Nursing & Health Professions at the University of San Francisco where she provided academic support and health education to Nursing students. 
 

Motivation

Alessandra brings her collaborative spirit and supportive approach to GBHI and the Atlantic Fellows to cultivate student success and continued efforts towards global health inequities. 
 

Education & Experience

Alessandra obtained a Master of Public Health degree from the University of San Francisco and a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences from California State University, East Bay. During her graduate studies, she interned with the United Nations UPEACE program in Costa Rica and Child Family Health International (San Francisco).
