Vision

Anne-Marie is privileged to interact daily with colleagues committed to improving brain health and reducing the stigma pertaining to aging; through maximizing their impact she believes that we can change the trajectory and increase the quality of life of communities worldwide.

Strategy

Prior to joining GBHI Anne-Marie facilitated connections among researchers across the globe, directing the largest conference program in Europe and negotiating international and governmental agreements. She designed leadership courses for Principal Investigators and group leaders, directing a related non-profit company.

Motivation

Anne-Marie is grateful to interact with each Atlantic Fellow and member of the GBHI team, facilitating their individual and collective success as together we contribute to increasing brain health across the globe.

Education & Experience

Anne-Marie graduated summa cum laude from NUI, Galway with a BSc. Biotechnology. Her PhD in Molecular Biology was jointly awarded by the University of Dundee and the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL). Anne-Marie is a certified mediator and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Conflict and Dispute Resolution (Trinity College Dublin). She joined GBHI in November 2016.
