Motivation
Despite growing awareness of dementia, many people in Latin America still face delays in diagnosis and limited access to specialized care. Reducing these gaps is essential to improve outcomes for patients, families, and communities.
Education & Experience
Carolina received her medical degree from the National University of La Plata, Argentina. After completing her neurology training, she went on to complete a fellowship in Cognitive Neurology at FLENI's Memory Clinic. Her work combines clinical care and research focused on dementia and vascular cognitive impairment, with a particular interest in collaborative initiatives that improve brain health in underrepresented populations.
