Bringing people together

Helen is committed to using her communications skills, and scientific curiosity, to increase awareness and understanding of GBHI’s transformative work and research. She hopes that her contribution will help people with dementia live healthier, fairer and more rewarding lives.

Before joining GBHI, Helen was External Relations Manager in the School of Social Sciences and Philosophy at Trinity College Dublin where she led communications, fundraising, alumni and international activities. She has also held a number of senior communications and marketing roles, in the education, healthcare and technology sectors, in Dublin and San Francisco.

By bringing personal stories and GBHI research and activities to life, for diverse audiences, Helen aims to help raise dementia awareness and share knowledge that reduces its scale and impact worldwide.
