Learning Experience Administrative Officer

I am focused on reaching disenfranchised groups and communities through learning and engagement. Utilizing collaborative practices to engage with individuals, their families and friends to provide positive changes for everyday life.

Current Work

Mary works with the Atlantic Fellows for Equity in Brain Health and the GBHI team to provide technical support and expertise to training, advocacy and awareness. She supports projects related to mentorship, curriculum development, leadership, and other experiential learning.

Vision

Utilizing her administrative and communication skills, Mary aims to help the Atlantic Fellows and GBHI team develop meaningful work. Mary will work with GBHI to support a multidisciplinary approach to creating equity for living with dementia.

Strategy

Before joining GBHI, Mary worked for several international universities providing program and technical support to students and staff. She previously worked in art education, focusing on community engagement and inclusivity.

Education & Experience

Mary obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts and Creative Writing from The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She completed a Master of Arts in Art Education at The School of The Art Institute of Chicago. She joined the GBHI operations team in June 2022 as Learning Experience Administrative Officer.
