Vision

Nuole believes we must invest in early detection and personalized prevention by integrating clinical care and research, promoting public education, and encouraging patient participation to advance practical, science-driven solutions to reduce the impact of dementia.

Strategy

Nuole applies recent advances in early detection to clinical care, and participate in observational studies and clinical trials, contributing to scientific progress and the development of personalized strategies for neurodegenerative diseases.

Impact

Nuole aims to refine advanced diagnostic skills and learn research protocols that can be implemented in the local setting to improve early diagnosis, patient care, and the scientific value of clinical cohorts.

Motivation

In Spain, dementia care remains unequal across heath area. Nuole works to improve early and equitable diagnosis through clinical and research work, teaching activities, protocol development, and participation in multicenter studies.

Education & Experience

Nuole completed a medical degree at the University of Barcelona. She then joined the Memory Unit at Hospital Sant Pau (Barcelona, Spain) as a clinical fellow, where she also began my PhD on astrocytic biomarkers in neurodegenerative disease at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. To complement her research trainings, she is completing a master's program in Bioinformatic and Biostatistics offered jointly by the Open University of Catalonia and the University of Barcelona.
