Randall is founder and director of the first national Young Onset Dementia Clinic, where he leads a multidisciplinary team focused on accurate diagnosis and caregiver support for people living with dementia.

Strategy
Randall founded the country's first Young-Onset Dementia Clinic, a multidisciplinary team including neurologists, psychiatrists, social workers, general practitioners, public policymakers, universities, the judicial system, and congress to work together.
Impact
As an Atalntic Fellow, Randall aims to serve the underserved and neglected population of young adults with dementia in Costa Rica and the world—patients marginalized within an already stigmatized group.
Motivation
Randall goal is to achieve nationwide visibility for these diseases and to ensure they are recognized as a public health priority, also to build a solid structure to address risk factors in the young adults with dementia in Costa Rica.
Education & Experience
Randall completed his medical school training and residence in neurology at the University of Costa Rica. After completing his specialty training, he joined the Neurology Department at Hospital Dr. Rafael Angel Calderon Guardia as Associate Professor.
