Leveraging Artificial Intelligence for Brain Health Advances
Event Details
The GBHI Alumni Community is invited to attend this leadership skills session focused on leveraging artificial intelligence for brain health advances.
Artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming how we engage with the world—enhancing efficiency and expanding possibilities. This emerging frontier offers exciting opportunities for brain health work, while also challenging us to think creatively and ethically about how AI can enhance dementia care, drive innovative research, and inform data analysis.
Within the GBHI community, Atlantic Fellows alumni are applying AI in intentional and transformative ways. GBHI collaborator, UCSF faculty member, and neuroscientist Pedro Pinheiro-Chagas is an expert in this field and has partnered closely with Atlantic Fellows on pioneering uses of AI to advance brain health.
Atlantic Fellows alumni are invited to join for a dynamic session exploring how AI tools and methods can be leveraged to advance research, clinical care, creative engagement, and advocacy for brain health and dementia. Bring your questions—and your own examples of how you are using AI in your work. Whether you’re experienced or just beginning to explore the possibilities, this interactive conversation will spark ideas, collaborations, and inspiration across our global community.
Featuring:
- Pedro Pinheiro-Chagas, Faculty Member, UCSF Edward and Pearl Fein Memory and Aging Center, Director, UCSF NeuroAI Lab, which takes a human-centered approach to developing advanced AI systems that optimize the discovery, diagnosis, and care of neurodegenerative diseases.
