Join us for an information session on the Atlantic Fellows for Equity in Brain Health program at the Global Brain Health Institute (GBHI) at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF).
Overview
Applications are now open for the 2027–28 Atlantic Fellows for Equity in Brain Health program at GBHI.
Fellows join the program at either the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) in the United States or Trinity College Dublin (Trinity) in Ireland. While both programs share the same mission, values, and commitment to advancing brain health equity, they offer distinct learning experiences. Applicants must select their preferred site during the application process.
This webinar spotlights the UCSF site, helping attendees determine which GBHI location best aligns with their goals and interests. In this session, attendees will:
- Discover more about GBHI and the Atlantic Fellows for Equity in Brain Health program at UCSF.
- Learn about the global hybrid fellowship model, including clinical learning, research opportunities, leadership development, and mentorship.
- Hear firsthand experiences from Atlantic Fellows.

About the Atlantic Fellows Program
The Atlantic Fellows for Equity in Brain Health program is a unique opportunity for values-driven, passionate leaders to enhance their impact and contribute to global brain health and dementia prevention.
Exceptional candidates from a range of fields—including clinical practice, social sciences, the arts, public health, research, policy, technology, and education—are encouraged to apply. Ideal applicants will demonstrate strong leadership potential, dedication to brain health and healthcare policy, and the ability to implement transformative solutions in their communities.
This year-long fellowship provides innovative education, mentorship, leadership development, and lifelong global connections for emerging leaders committed to reducing the global impact of dementia. UCSF offers a part-time, global hybrid fellowship that combines weekly online learning with international in-person workshops and flexible opportunities to engage with the UCSF Fein Memory and Aging Center, one of the world's leading centers for dementia care and brain health research.
