Overview

Applications are now open for the 2026–27 Atlantic Fellows for Equity in Brain Health program at the Global Brain Health Institute (GBHI). This 12-month, full-time fellowship provides innovative training and support to emerging leaders committed to advancing brain health and tackling global inequities.

Fellows join the program at either Trinity College Dublin (Trinity) in Ireland or the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) in the United States. Applicants must select their preferred site during the application process.

This session is designed for prospective applicants ready to make a real difference in the field of brain health. The webinar spotlights the Trinity site, helping attendees determine which GBHI location best aligns with their goals and interests. Participants will hear directly from program staff and leadership, explore the Trinity experience, and receive guidance to support their applications—ahead of the September 19 deadline.

About the Atlantic Fellows Program

The Atlantic Fellows for Equity in Brain Health program is a unique opportunity for values-driven, passionate leaders to enhance their impact and contribute to global brain health and dementia prevention.

Exceptional candidates from a range of fields—including clinical practice, social sciences, the arts, public health, research, policy, technology, and education—are encouraged to apply. Ideal applicants will demonstrate strong leadership potential, dedication to brain health and healthcare policy, and the ability to implement transformative solutions in their communities.
