Let This Be a Symphony: The Art and Impact of Co-Created Dementia Advocacy

Join us for a special film screening and panel discussion to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Global Brain Health Institute (GBHI) at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), co-sponsored by the Alzheimer's Association, Northern California and Nevada Chapter.

The program will feature selected short films from Let This Be a Symphony, a media advocacy campaign that uses collaborative video storytelling to help de-stigmatize Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. By centering lived experiences, the project seeks to shift both conversation and culture toward greater understanding, connection, and compassion.

Bringing together perspectives across storytelling, clinical care, research, and lived experience, this program explores how collaboration and advocacy can help advance brain health and support individuals and communities affected by dementia.

A panel discussion on co-created advocacy in brain health will follow the screening.
