The GBHI Alumni Community is invited to attend this leadership skills session focused on leveraging artificial intelligence for brain health advances.

The UCSF Memory and Aging Center is excited to announce filmmaker and Atlantic Fellow Zach Bandler as the inaugural recipient of the Miller Artist in Residence Program. This prestigious residency honors Harriet Bernice Sanders Miller, MFA—an artist fascinated with botany, cell biology, and medical illustration—and her husband Milton Miller, MD, professor of psychiatry and biobehavioral sciences.

Younger-onset dementia is often unseen and misunderstood. Yet it impacts people in their 30’s to mid-60’s globally. Nearly 4 million people worldwide are living with younger-onset dementia. However, when you multiply that by a family of 4, that's almost 16 million people that are navigating this diagnosis and this doesn't include those undiagnosed, misdiagnosed or whose loved ones have passed. 

Join Creative Minds artists and doctors from the UCSF Memory and Aging Center on Saturday August 23rd at 11 a.m. for a brain health talk with Dr. Charles Windon, lunch, and an afternoon of arts and music activities. Photography and visual arts displays from Creative Minds participants will be on view. Event is free and open to the public.  

Beautiful Bayview will celebrate the creativity and style of Creative Minds community artists on Friday, August 23 at the Dr. George W. Davis Senior Center. Invite your friends and family and join us to celebrate brain health, art, and community with doctors and artists from the UCSF Memory and Aging Center! We will gather starting at 4 p.m. to enjoy an elder-centered fashion show, choir performance, and art and photography displays over light bites.
