We need to develop Memory Clinics and inform populations about prevention and follow the patients during all the stages of Dementia to help the caregivers to find good solutions.

Strategy

Sandra is working to improve Memory Clinic and propose a program based on exercices, diet, and cognitive training.

Impact

As an Atlantic Fellow she's learned deeper knowledge about Dementia and created a international network .

Motivation

Develop the Memory Clinic to increase the early diagnosis and offer the help to caregivers.

Education & Experience

Sandra Higuet received her Medical School Training from the University of Brussels, Belgium. She completed her training by a speciality of Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine. She was selected for a European Geriatric Training (EAMA), she studied the Psychogeriatrics in France and also obtained a diploma of Medical Management. She is actually Head of Department of Geriatric Medicine.
