Vision

As an Atlantic Fellow, my goals are to broaden my knowledge of brain health and interculturality. These will allow me to have the necessary tools to improve the quality of life of my people.

Strategy

My main objective is to carry out a descriptive study to estimate the incidence and prevalence of dementia as a starting point for a macro project that considers comprehensive management of dementia’s pathology, as well as standardizing neuropsychological tools for diagnosis.

Motivation

My professional experience has led me to closely feel the gaps in the diagnosis and management of people with dementia, especially in the indigenous population.
