Overview
Neuropathologic assessment of the brain after death is an essential component of dementia research. Initial brain bank projects showed us that the most important aspect of these networks is brain donation, which is crucial to perform neuropathological analysis. We have a huge need to invest neuropathology to reach the excellent contemporary scientific quality for Turkey. Despite this fact, we have a lack of in-depth knowledge about brain donation.
Project Details
This project aims to identify the knowledge and attitudes about brain donation by asking people about their willingness. Later, we will use the collected data to address the concerns and develop a preliminary education program for brain donation. The investigator believes that this project will promote dementia research in Turkey.
