Leadership in Action: Brain Health on the Ground (Oceania)

Event Details

As GBHI celebrates 10 years, this session brings together Atlantic Fellows based in Australia to share perspectives on advancing brain health and equity across diverse settings and communities.

Poster for GBHI 10-year webinar on brain health in Australia with speakers, date, and registration info.

The webinar will feature a series of short presentations highlighting work across dementia care, lived experience, nature and creative engagement, quality of life, and resilience in ageing. Together, these contributions reflect the breadth of approaches shaping brain health across Australia and Oceania. We will conclude with a moderated Q&A, offering space for discussion and exchange with speakers.

This session is designed for a broad audience interested in the work of GBHI and in brain health research, including researchers, practitioners, and the wider community.

A recording of the session will be made available to all registered participants.

Separately, we will livestream from the Australian outback, outdoors, as part of a global gathering marking the GBHI 10-year anniversary on Thursday, May 22 at 1:00 am Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST). All are invited to join this session as well.
