Leadership in Action: Global Brain Health Satellite Sessions
Event Details
As part of the Global Brain Health Institute’s (GBHI) 10 year milestone, five global sites will host Leadership in Action: Global Brain Health Satellite Sessions in May 2026.
These locally led events, organized by Atlantic Fellows in collaboration with local partners, reflect regional priorities, cross sector partnerships, and creative approaches to advancing brain health equity. Across these five satellites, a series of engaging local programs, events, and innovations will take place in communities around the world.
As the culmination of these efforts, participants will gather together in a shared, synchronous global session on May 21, 2026, hosted by GBHI at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). In this hybrid webinar, participants will hear directly from fellows and partners leading each Satellite Session, offering insights into their local work and the collaborations shaping brain health in diverse settings.
The webinar will also provide an opportunity to:
- Understand the origins of GBHI’s interdisciplinary model
- Explore how value-based leadership has shaped a growing international community of fellows
- Hear about the initial philanthropic vision that helped spark a global, equity focused movement in brain health
The 2026 Satellite Sessions will take place in:
